Mia Carissima breeding kennel is located in Karlovac and specializes in breeding Border Collies. Although we do not have a large number of dogs in the kennel, we strive to breed primarily top-quality dogs. Our vision is simple - 'Our dogs are our family.' Since we started breeding, we have endeavored to maintain high standards of breeding dogs of exceptional beauty and personality. Dogs from our kennel are show-line dogs and have a calmer temperament compared to work-line Border Collies.
In Mia Carissima, every puppy is raised with exceptional care and love. From day one, the puppies reside in our home in a special room that allows them carefree growth and development. The puppies are under constant veterinary supervision, and from the very beginning, we work on their socialization (introducing them to other people and children, getting them accustomed to various sounds, car rides, and socializing with other dogs). As the puppies grow, we gradually introduce them to our yard and the surrounding nature, giving them the opportunity to explore the world outside the house and develop skills adapted to the outdoor environment. From the earliest days, we pay attention to teaching basic commands and encourage the habit of relieving themselves outside the house.
We practice an open approach, inviting interested owners to visit our breeding kennel to personally meet our puppies, establish a connection with them, and select a pet that best suits their needs and lifestyle. Our support to new owners is continuous and available every day, 24 hours a day. We stand ready to provide advice, support, and assistance to ensure a happy and worry-free life with their new pet. We maintain contacts with many owners from previous litters, exchanging photos and videos, and even visiting each other.
We expect potential owners to demonstrate a high level of responsibility in all aspects of caring for the dog, with a special emphasis on ensuring its health and providing an active and fulfilling life. Our goal is to find owners who will enable each pet to have a long and happy life filled with care and love. We insist that our dogs, with future owners, are not kept on chains or in kennels but instead are housed and sleep indoors.
